My jeep (Jeep Commander) was sagging pretty bad with any weight in the back, last trip to the beach with the roof basket, cargo area and hitch basket full I felt down right unsafe with the sag was bad. I purchased longer shocks then the direct replacement I have a lift and I got the ones meant for the F150. First thing I noticed is the jeep tightened right up was more stable in turns and just handled much better. Next was the real test headed to the beach and loaded up the Jeep. Had about a total of 1200LBS of cargo about 400LBS of that on the hitch basket. Shocks setteled right about where I was hoping they would I think they dropped about 1'. The best part was the ride quality with the weight in the back. Instead of bouncing down the highway with every little dip in the road the shocks absorbed all that and then some and kept me stable and safe. Good tough shock
Well I purchased these shocks to go on to a lifted WK Grand Cherokee and they work great for that. The ride is stiffer yet comfortable and it is also very comfortable on road as off. Great for towing or having heavy loads in the back. I can put a 21 foot bayliner on the hitch and the back just stays up. No sagging at all! Good product!
They Work Great-'05 Grand Cherokee
Used these with the Rough Country 2" Budget Boost on my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee and they are great. They lifted up the rear and are an improvement over the stock shocks.
