This Flex-a-lite electric engine cooling fan with the solid brackets mounts directly to the radiator mounting points of the 1987-2005 Jeep Wranglers. Replacing the stock steel fan with this electric unit frees up to 5 horsepower, 12 feet-pounds torque and provides added control over fan operation. Using an electric fan for primary cooling means quicker warm-ups, quicker cool-downs. Fan features a built-in adjustable thermostat and air conditioning relay.

worked okay but ....
I had purchased and installed this electric fan with the expectation of having cooler summer running temperatures and better fuel economy - neither of which were achieved - the electric fan worked well in slow, stop n go, city driving and such - but at freeway speeds the shroud must block too much airflow as the fan opening is smaller than factory & at freeway speeds I ran about 10 degrees hotter. The electric fan with the install kit fit well and installed fairly easily. However, the temp control was tough and tricky to setup as the Flex a lite temp control is cheap and cheesy & I wasn't willing to spend more $$ for better temp control - additionally the electric fan did not result in getting me better fuel economy - in the end I put the factory fan & shroud back on & sold this one on Craigslist - the factory setup really works best
